The PRS Foundation for New Music (PRSF) is a refreshingly approachable
and adventurous funding body. As the UK's largest independent funder
purely for new music, The Foundation supports a huge range of new music
activity - everything from unsigned band showcases to residencies for
music creators, from ground-breaking commissions to live electronica.
The Hinrichsen Foundation

The Hinrichsen Foundation concentrates on assisting in contemporary
composition and its performance and musical research. They are
supporting our February 2008 New Rational
Music event.
The Holst Foundation
The Holst Foundation supports the presentation and development of contemporary
composition. They are supporting our February
2008 New Rational Music event.
Rational Rec has been working hard to forge new partnerships with the cream of London's arts organisations. Our third season is brought to you in collaboration with:

LUX
www.lux.org.uk
LUX is a not-for-profit organisation that supports and promotes contemporary
and historical artists' moving image work, and those who make it, through
distribution, exhibition, publishing and research. LUX will be programming
special moving image slots throughout the course of Rational Rec's
third season, many of which will include performance and music.

Southbank Centre

Southbank Centre consists of the Royal Festival Hall (newly reopened
after its two-year transformation), The Hayward, Queen Elizabeth Hall
(containing the Purcell Room), and the Saison Poetry Library. We also
manage the Arts Council Collection and organises the National Touring
Exhibition programme in venues throughout the UK. In November 2007,
for our inaugural event, Rational Rec will be enlivening the Queen
Elizabeth Hall foyer with a unique event incorporating sounds, music,
visual and performing arts and film.

Spitalfields Festival

Spitalfields Festival encompasses a three-week Festival in June, a
ten-day Festival in December and a year-round programme of education
and community work. The Festival prides itself on the quality of its
programming, with concerts covering a broad range of western classical
music, from early music through to the newest of new music. In June
2008 Rational Rec will decamp for a special event at Wilton's
Music Hall as a part of the 2008 Spitalfields Festival.
